The results of Zelensky's declaration check are published

The National Agency for Prevention of Corruption has finished checking the declaration of President Vladimir Zelensky. The agency concluded that the document has no signs of illicit enrichment, reports Korrespondent.

It is noted that the Agency has examined the data released by the media regarding the information about the company Maltex Multicapital Corp, registered in the tax service of the British Virgin Islands, and the house in Italy, the owner of which is the first lady Elena Zelenska.

As indicated, the head of state provided the NAPC with copies of letters from the directors of Film Heritage Inc. and Maltex Multicapital Corp. regarding the absence of any payments in 2019-2020 from Maltex Multicapital Corp. to Film Heritage Inc. as well as from Film Heritage Inc. to the declarant's wife. The NAPC also sent inquiries to authorities in the British Virgin Islands and Belize, but no information had been received from them as of the last day of the full audit, according to the agency.

As for the house in Forte dei Marmi, Italy, which belongs to the limited liability company San Tommaso S.R.L. and whose ultimate beneficial owner is the wife of the president, according to the information provided by the owner of the facility, Zelensky and his family members did not use the property during 2020. During the reporting period, the building was used by the legal entity in economic activities.

The NACC report states that the agency found no evidence of illicit enrichment, unreasonable assets and conflict of interests, and the accuracy of the assessment of declared assets corresponds to the data obtained from available sources.
