Figure skating: Ukrainian duo became a medalist in an international tournament

The Ukrainian dancing duo of Alexandra Nazarova/Maksim Nikitin won silver at the international figure skating tournament in memory of Denis Ten which ended in the capital of Kazakhstan.


Galina Churilova's students took third place in rhythmic dance and showed the second result in free dance (113.18) and remained in the same position in the overall standings - 188.64.


The winners of the tournament were Russian dancers Anastasia Skoptsova / Kirill Aleshin - 195.06. The third place also went to the duet from Russia Yelizaveta Khudaiberdiyeva/Egor Bazin - 186.80.


It is worth mentioning that in the men's figure skating 19-year-old Ukrainian Ivan Shmuratko after finishing fourth in the short program dropped two places in the free skating and finished in the fifth place with a total of 208.66.
