The Ukrainian-Romanian negotiations about Romania's support of Ukraine's European aspirations are on going. It is assumed that Romania will sign a corresponding document, which will recognize the prospect of Ukraine's accession to the EU, it became known from the press service of the office of the head of state.

This issue was discussed with the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denuts Sebastian Nekuleescu in Bucharest Igor Zhovkva, deputy head of the Office of the President.

The official hopes that Romania, along with other EU states, will recognize Ukraine's European aspirations.

"The interlocutors agreed to intensify work on a draft of a relevant bilateral political declaration," the press service says.
