Head of the Ministry of Health: Only after vaccinating half of the population Ukrainians will be able to receive a booster dose of the vaccine

Only after crossing the 50 percent mark in vaccination of Ukrainians against coronavirus will citizens be able to receive a booster dose of the vaccine, Viktor Lyashko said in a statement.

 

"As soon as we cross the mark of 50 percent of the vaccinated population in Ukraine, we will return to the question of a booster dose, or repeated, double vaccination against coronavirus disease," Lyashko told the media today.

 

Today, the minister said, more than half of the vaccinated population, at least one dose, only in Kiev (55%). In Poltava, Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions more than 40 percent of the population is vaccinated.
