The Ukrainian Navy reported the continuation of Russia's provocative actions at sea

The Russian Federation does not stop its provocative actions against Ukraine at sea. As of today, the Russian Federation has blocked about 70% of the Azov Sea. This is reported by the press service of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The Russian Federation continues provocative actions against Ukraine. As of December 10, the Russian Federation blocked about 70% of the water area of the Sea of Azov. Now the Russians have posted navigational warnings (NWS) on the restriction of navigation in certain areas allegedly in connection with artillery firing in areas near Mariupol, Berdyansk and Genichesk," the Navy reported.

The press service notes that such closures of areas occur systematically and prevent free navigation in the Sea of Azov.

The announcement of navigation warnings by the Russian Federation in the Sea of Azov in the vicinity of the basing points of the Ukrainian Navy and civilian ports is an "open provocation", the press service said.

"Such actions of the aggressor once again demonstrate Russia's attempts to turn the Sea of Azov into its own internal 'lake,'" the Navy noted.
