The Russian Defense Ministry reports that the CSTO military is preparing equipment for loading onto Russian aircraft and is about to return to the places of permanent deployment.The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has begun withdrawing its forces from Kazakhstan and transferring the guarded facilities to the law enforcement agencies of that country. The announcement was made public on Thursday, January 13, by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

 

"In accordance with the plan developed by the command of the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the transfer of socially important objects protected by peacekeepers to the law enforcement agencies of the country has begun," the report says.
