Montenegro has simplified the entry to Ukrainians: what documents are needed

The authorities of Montenegro have reviewed the conditions for foreign nationals entering the country: the new rules will be valid until January 19, with the possible extension. This was reported by Montenegrin RTCG.

"The Ministry of Health of Montenegro has announced new rules of entry into the country, according to which from January 13 foreign travelers may enter if they meet at least one of the four conditions of the digital COVID-19 certificate of the EU. The requirements have changed due to epidemiological improvement of the situation," the report says.

So, in order to enter Montenegro a tourist must meet any of the conditions:

Be fully vaccinated and a maximum of six months must have passed since the second dose was administered;

Have a negative PCR test done no earlier than 72 hours before the trip;

Have an express test performed no earlier than 48 hours before travel;

Have a certificate of coronavirus carried at least 10 days and no more than six months ago.

The new requirements cancel previous rules under which unvaccinated and unexposed foreign nationals could not visit Montenegro, and those vaccinated and exposed to COVID-19 required a PCR test.
