Alexander Kvitashvili became Consumer Choice Center health care advisor

International Consumer Choice Center announced the appointment of Alexander Kvitashvili as Health Adviser. This was announced by Consumer Choice Center's press service.

 

Commenting on his appointment, Alexander Kvitashvili said, "I am very pleased to join CCC as a Health Advisor. I have been following CCC's work since their inception, and I am amazed at their accomplishments. Public health discourse is often littered with dogma and one-sided views, which is why CCC is truly a one-of-a-kind organization. The CCC has a brilliant track record, a global perspective, and a commitment to protecting consumers' right to choose. I look forward to actively working with the CCC on health care."

It is known that Oleksandr Kvitashvili is an independent consultant of the World Health Organization (WHO). He was the 19th Minister of Health of Ukraine from 2014 to 2016. Kvitashvili was also Minister of Health of Georgia from 2008 to 2010. Kvitashvili was also rector of Tbilisi State University (TSU) from 2010 to 2013.
