Erdogan to visit Ukraine in February - mass media

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may visit Ukraine on 3 February. This day marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Turkey. This is reported by CNN Türk.

 

As part of his visit to Ukraine, Erdoğan is expected to hold a one-on-one meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev.

 

"President Erdogan, who is expected to travel to Ukraine with a large delegation, will chair the 10th high-level strategic council meeting with his counterpart Zelensky," said presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin.

 

The Turkish and Ukrainian delegations are also expected to sign agreements and memorandums of understanding on agreed issues after the meeting. The agreements will be of a defense nature.
