The third round of talks between Ukraine and Russia may take place tomorrow or the day after tomorrow - Podolyak

"We are waiting, we are in constant contact with them. When it is clear that we are ready to go further with them and talk about a cease-fire, we have an option: we are going literally right now," Podolyak said at a joint press conference with the head of the parliamentary faction "Servant of the People" David Arahamia on "Russia's war against Ukraine" in the Lviv Regional State Administration.

When asked why the negotiations are taking place exactly in Belarus, he said that the reason is Russia's refusal to negotiate in other intermediary countries.

"Perhaps there will be another country later, because we wanted to take an option in the form of Turkey or Poland. Unfortunately, Belarus is infrastructurally used as a springboard to attack our cities," he said.

Also, according to Podolyak, a working group, which includes representatives of Ukraine, Russia and the International Humanitarian Mission "Red Cross" to create humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of people from hot spots, is currently created and functioning.

"We are now discussing how to logistically evacuate people, bring food, medicine, etc. there. I think that today during the day we will already have a clear understanding of, for example, Mariupol, Volnovakha, what corridor there will be," he summarized.
