Polish Prime Minister: Most NATO countries approve of the peace mission in Ukraine

At a press conference after a two-day meeting of the European Council, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki spoke about the perception of the idea of a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine and its consequences. This is reported by Rmf24.

Other European Council member states have expressed approval for a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine, but also expect some support and a common voice from NATO.

"We already know from the media in previous days that there have been positive reactions from Denmark and Lithuania. Today I can say that other member states have expressed their approval, but they also expect some support and a common voice from NATO. We also emphasize that this should be a point mission of NATO," the Polish prime minister said.

Morawiecki noted that Russian troops are bombing Ukrainian cities and what the consequences will be.

"For those who are skeptical, and there were such in the hall of the European Council, I would like them to imagine that all of Ukraine becomes Mariupol, a rozbollen place where people are fleeing, and other states will have to accept tens of millions of refugees," Morawiecki said.
