Ukraine is waiting for official confirmation of the use of chemical weapons by the Russian occupants in Mariupol and a painful response from the world. This was announced by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk.
"Lenta was flooded with reports about the probable use of chemical weapons in Mariupol. "Azov" reports that there are victims. The U.S. warned Russia that if it tried to use chemical weapons against Ukraine, the response would be very harsh. The German Chancellor said roughly the same thing. Well, we are waiting for the official confirmation of the information and the most painful answer for Russia," Stefanchuk wrote.
We recall that in Mariupol, the occupants used a toxic substance of unknown origin against military and civilians.
