The historic meeting on Ukraine in Ramstein has begun

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has announced the start of a meeting of representatives of more than 40 countries at the Ramstein air base in Germany. The Pentagon chief added that the main goal of the talks was to guarantee Ukraine's security.

 

"We have just begun a historic meeting - more than 40 countries have come together to help Ukraine win the fight against Russia's unjust invasion," the Pentagon chief wrote on Twitter.

 

He stressed that the main purpose of the meeting was to agree on short- and long-term security requirements for Ukraine. To his post, Austin attached several photos from the talks. Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov can be seen on them.
