Zelensky invited Orban to Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Tuesday, inviting him to visit Ukraine. The head of state said this on Twitter.

 

"Had a fruitful conversation with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Thanked him for supporting the sovereignty of Ukraine and shelter for Ukrainians during the war. Agreed to develop cooperation in the energy sector. Thanked for the support of the candidate status. Invited to visit Ukraine", - said Zelensky.

 

Orban's spokesman Bertalan Havasi said that the conversation mainly concerned Ukraine's European integration, the reception of Ukrainian refugees in Hungary and "other areas of Ukrainian-Hungarian cooperation".
