Putin again insulted Western politicians and recalled Merkel

In Europe, there are no politicians of the level of former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, former French President Jacques Chirac and former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who embodied a powerful course.

This was stated by the deputy head of the Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, reports RBC-Ukraine.

According to him, these politicians have been "replaced by a stunted brood of people who conditionally call themselves technocrats.

"Such people are capable of competently formulating an idea and giving precise instructions to their assistants. But they are incapable of taking responsibility. Mario Draghi is not Silvio Berlusconi, and Olaf Scholz is not Angela Merkel... Could the Ukrainian ambassador have called Chancellor Kohl an offended liverwurst? Or would the current president of Ukraine show up to a meeting with President Chirac wearing a green T-shirt?" he wrote.

Medvedev said that the problem with European politics had to do primarily with the fact that "it has become a pale backing singer for American soloists."

"Charles de Gaulle could object to any American president. Now who among the Europeans will do so without shaky hands...? They are limited only by their flabby electoral objectives. This creates problems not only for the Western world, but also for us, Russia," said the deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Medvedev also used to make threatening and insulting statements about European leaders. For example, he reacted in a threatening manner to the visit of Macron, Scholz and Draghi to Kiev, stating that it was of no use at all. He also said that the EU would allegedly "disappear before it accepts Ukraine. Medvedev also reacted sharply to Ukraine's plans to receive gas from the United States under the Lend-Lease, saying that allegedly "Ukraine will not exist in two years.

In Europe, this Russian policy is not taken very seriously. Thus, the head of the Munich conference, Christoph Heusgen, called former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev the latest clown, reacting to the threats.
