Rocket attack on a shopping mall in Kremenchuk: 36 people reported missing

As a result of the Russian occupants' rocket attack on the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchuk in the Poltava region, 36 people are missing and 18 are known to be dead as of this moment. This was reported by the head of the Poltava RSA Dmitry Lunin.

 

"Unfortunately, as of now, 18 people are already known to have died as a result of the Russian strike. Another 36 people are considered missing. We continue our search. The victims are being provided with all necessary assistance," Lunin wrote on Telegram.

 

According to him, the removal of the rubble of the Amstor shopping mall in Kremechuk continues.

 

"All night long, more than a thousand people - rescuers, police, medics and volunteers - worked on the rubble. I am grateful to everyone who is doing their job tirelessly and to those who are helping," Lunin noted.

 

Russian occupiers launched a missile strike on a shopping center in the city of Kremenchug. The strike was carried out by two X-22 missiles. They were fired from long-range Tu-22 M3 bombers, from an airfield in the Kursk region.

 

One of them hit the city stadium.

 

Under the procedural guidance of the Poltava regional prosecutor's office a pre-trial investigation was initiated into the violation of laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

 

As a result of the missile attack on the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchug, the death toll rose to 18 people.

 

Search and rescue operations continue, the damaged building structures are being dismantled with the help of heavy engineering equipment and small-scale mechanization.
