As a result of a Russian missile hitting a multi-story building in the Odesa region, 18 people were killed. Among the victims were three children. At the recreation center, 3 people, including one child, were killed. There is also a casualty. This is reported by the state Emergencies Service.
"July 1 at about 01:00 in the village of Belgorod-Dnistrovsky district as a result of a rocket attack there was a partial destruction of a nine-story apartment building with the subsequent ignition of the store attached to it on an area of about 20 square meters.
As of 06:00, 18 people were killed and 30 injured (3 of them children).
State Emergencies Ministry units rescued 7 people (3 of them children) from under the rubble. The work is ongoing," reads the statement.
It is also noted that on July 1 at about 01:00 in the Belgorod-Dnistrovskiy district as a result of a rocket attack there was partial destruction of a three-story and a four-story building of a recreation center, which resulted in the death of 3 people (of which 1 child) and hurt 1 person. The works are still in progress.
A powerful explosion occurred during an air-raid alert in the Odesa region. Subsequently, it became known that one rocket hit a 9-story residential building, while the second hit a recreation center in the Belgorod-Dnistrovskiy district.
