The Kremlin explained what Putin's "seriously haven't started yet" meant

Kremlin head Vladimir Putin's words that we "have not yet started anything in earnest in Ukraine" mean that Russia has attracted only a small part of its potential in the war.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, quoted by Russia's Interfax, said this.

"The president appealed to the statements that are heard from Western countries, from Kiev, that Kiev on the battlefield will move until victory. Here Putin thus reminded us that the potentials are absolutely incomparable. Russia's potential is so great in this regard that only a small part of it is now involved in a special military operation," says Peskov.

As a reminder, yesterday the Russian dictator said at a meeting with factions of the State Duma that the Russian Federation has allegedly not yet "seriously started" a war against Ukraine, but that "the further away, the harder it will be to agree with Moscow."

"Everyone should know that by and large we have not yet begun anything in earnest. At the same time we are not rejecting the peace talks. But those who are giving up must know that the further they go, the harder it will be for them to reach an agreement with us.

Then Alexei Arestovich, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, responded to these words of Putin, ironically referring to the Russians: "You have not started, but you are already finishing".

The Office of the President also laughed at the Russian dictator's statement.

"37,000 Russian military dead (+12,000 PACs). Total sanitary losses are 98,000 to 117,000 people...Russia has not started the war yet? The Kremlin only considers the Stalinist mathematics as war - 20 million losses?", Mikhail Podolyak, advisor to the head of the President's Office, wrote on Twitter.
