As of today, new temporary rules for the transportation of animals from Ukraine to Poland have come into effect. This is reported Telegram "Ukrzaliznytsia".
Now it is possible to travel to Poland with pets under the following conditions:
the animal has an implanted microchip;
the animal is vaccinated against rabies (vaccination must be current and carried out not earlier than microchip implanted);
the animal has a valid European veterinary passport issued by the veterinary authorities, which confirms the microchip and vaccination.
"We ask passengers to consider these changes when planning travel and in advance to secure their cats, dogs, ferrets, weasels and other pets from unnecessary questions when crossing the border with Poland", - noted in UZ.
We shall remind, at the beginning of large-scale evacuation of Ukrainians abroad, there were simplified rules for animals. In particular, it was only necessary to fill in an application form, and all other procedures could be completed upon arrival.
