Acting Bulgarian Economy Minister Alexander Mikhailov said on Thursday that the country has transferred 4,200 tons of weapons to the latter since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This was reported by Nova.bg.
"In the first four months from the beginning of the war - until June 30, permits were signed by (former Economy Minister Kornelia) Ninova for the export of Bulgarian weapons worth one billion 16 million euros. During this four-month period, 4,200 tons of Bulgarian weapons were delivered to the Polish airport near the border with Ukraine," Mikhailov told a news conference.
He added that he had documents to prove his words, but did not show them.
