U.S. calls on Russia to end hostilities near Zaporizhzhia NPP

The USA has condemned Russia's actions at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Washington calls on Moscow to stop military actions at nuclear facilities in Ukraine. This was stated by White House press secretary Karin Jean-Pierre during a briefing.

"We continue to call on Russia to halt all military activities at or near Ukrainian nuclear facilities and to return full control to Ukraine," the White House spokeswoman said.

She also noted that the U.S. is monitoring the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. So far, according to Washington, there are no signs of elevated or abnormal radiation levels.
