The Verkhovna Rada once again extended the martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine. They will continue for another 90 days.
The deputy from the Golos faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak wrote about it in his Telegram.
Today the parliament approved bill #7664 on the extension of the military status, as well as bill #7665 on the extension of the period of joint mobilization.
The two documents were supported by 328 MPs.
Thus, the military status and mobilization were prolonged for 90 days from September 23, that is, until November 21, 2022.
During the martial law period in the country there may be the following restrictions:
relocation (travel abroad, document checks, curfew);
The right to work and business activities;
Right to privacy of telephone calls;
Declaration of freedom of speech, media activity, political parties;
conduct of elections and referendums.
The scope and extent of mobilization in Ukraine is determined by the General Staff of the ZSU.
The following categories of military personnel are not called up for military service during mobilization:
Those who were booked for the mobilization period for the war time;
Those who have been declared by the medical board as temporarily unfit for military service due to the state of their health (for up to six months with the need to undergo a repeated medical examination);
Men and women with three or more children under 18 years of age in their care;
men and women raising a child/children under 18 years of age alone;
men and women raising a child with an invalidity of subgroup A up to 18 years of age;
men and women who have a child with invalidity in their care (with types of disorders of body functions of stages IІІ-IV of their manifestation);
men and women who are raising a full-grown (18-23 years old) child who is a person with Invalidity Group I or II;
men and women who are caregivers, foster parents, adoptive fathers, custodial fathers, and children without parental care (up to 18 years of age);
those who take constant care of people who require babysitting (if there are no other people who can take care of them);
The people's deputies, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the ARC.
Also, during the state of war they cannot be mobilized:
persons of professional and higher education, trainee assistants, graduate and doctoral students, who study in full-time or dual forms of education;
The following are the conditions for the establishment of a higher and professional higher education, scientific institutions and organizations with academic titles and/or academic degrees, and pedagogical staff of secondary educational institutions, on condition that they work accordingly in institutions of higher or professional higher education, research institutions and organizations, institutions of general secondary education at the main place of work for not less than 0.75 jobs;
Women and men whose close relatives (husband, boyfriend, son, daughter, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother or brother or sister) were killed or disappeared during the ATO/OSS.
