In Ukraine, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 increased by more than 40% during the week of September 8-14, compared to the previous year - up to 5,439. This is evidenced by data from the Center for Public Health.

According to the data of the Center of Public Health, a total of 5 035 828 cases of cows were recorded in Ukraine.

Of these, 5,439 cases were recorded during the reporting week compared to 3,893 the year before. Also, during the week there was a 39.7% increase.

At the same time, during the week of September 8-14 vaccinated persons in Ukraine contracted the disease 1782 times more than the previous 1291 times (+38%).

The highest number of cases per week was registered in Chernivtsi (552), Transcarpathian (504), Sumy (427), Khmelnitsky (415) and Vinnitsky (393) regions.

The number of hospitalizations per week in Ukraine increased by 12% to 1,974.

The number of people who received treatment through COVID-19 per week was 3,097 (+84.1%). A total of 4,917,838 people were affected.

The number of fatal accidents during the year was higher than usual - 37 people died, while 16 died in the previous year. A total of 108,780 people died in Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic.
