Johnson came to Kyiv for the third time since the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Kyiv for the third time since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion on Wednesday, when Ukraine celebrates Independence Day.

"What is happening now in Ukraine is important to all of us. That is why I am in Kyiv today. That is why Great Britain will continue to support our Ukrainian friends. I believe that Ukraine can and will win this war," Johnson wrote on Twitter.

Johnson's arrival in Ukraine was confirmed by President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

"Boris, thank you for the uncompromising support of our country from the first days of full-scale Russian aggression, for steadfastly defending the interests of Ukraine on the international arena! Our country is lucky to have such a friend!" - the head of state wrote in Telegram.
