During the first month of the "grain initiative", more than 1.7 million tons of agricultural products were exported from the ports of the Odesa region. The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine announced this on Facebook.

 

 "Since August 1, when the implementation of the "grain initiative" began, 1.72 million tons of agricultural products have been shipped from the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdenny. A total of 68 ships left the unblocked ports during August, the ports of destination of which are located in 18 countries of the world," it said. in the message.

 

 During the same period, almost 1.6 million tons were exported through the Danube ports, approximately one million tons by rail, and more than 600,000 tons by road.
