The water is receding, almost 80 houses are still flooded: what is known about the situation in Kryvyi Rih

Due to damage to hydraulic structures in Kryvyi Rih, 79 houses remain flooded. The water level in the areas affected by the attack is decreasing. Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko stated this in Telegram.

"As a result of the concerted actions of our services, the water is leaving. This can already be seen on the example of Mershavtsev Park. Yesterday, the maximum water level there reached 190 cm, now - 65 cm. And this positive dynamic will be observed in the future," Tymoshenko wrote.

According to him, an hour ago, the work on the installation of another gate was completed, which affected the volume of water leakage.

Currently, units of the State Emergency Service are pumping out water from four affected houses in the Ingulets district and seven more houses in the Central City district.

The deputy head of the VP noted that currently 79 out of 116 private residential buildings and homesteads remain flooded.

"We are working there as well. Liquidation works continue in full swing," Tymoshenko added.
