The head of the Hungarian government claims that Moscow and Washington need to "come to an agreement" on ending the war in Ukraine.
Russia's war against Ukraine can be ended by negotiations between Moscow and Washington. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in an interview with the German publications Berliner Zeitung and Cicero, published on Tuesday, October 11.
He assures that Russia should negotiate with the USA regarding the ceasefire in Ukraine. The head of the Hungarian government said that he is counting on 45 US President Donald Trump.
"The armistice should not be concluded between Russia and Ukraine, but between America and Russia. Anyone who thinks that this war will be ended through Russian-Ukrainian negotiations does not live in this world. The reality of the authorities is different," the official assures.
In addition, Orbán said that the current US President Joe Biden is not a "suitable negotiator" from the US side.
"The hope for peace is called Donald Trump," he believes.
