Electricity prices were fixed until the end of the heating season

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine fixed electricity prices for the population until the end of the heating season. Today's decision extended the special duties imposed on market participants. The Ministry of Energy reports this on Facebook.

 Thus, preferential prices for electricity for the population will remain at least until March 31, 2023.

 "Today, despite the war and massive shelling of the energy infrastructure, a decision was made to keep tariffs for the population unchanged in order to prevent an additional financial burden on our citizens," said Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko.

 It should be noted that today the tariffs are:

 UAH 1.44/kWh – when consuming up to 250 kWh per month;

 UAH 1.68/kWh – when consuming more than 250 kWh per month.

 A tariff of UAH 1.68/kW*h has also been established for hostels, legal entities that host displaced persons, cottage cooperatives, garages, and religious organizations.

 This tariff is valid in multi-apartment buildings when electricity is used for technical purposes: operation of individual heating points, boiler rooms, elevators, pumps, intercoms and lighting of yards, stairs and license plates.

 According to the new resolution, the list is supplemented with emergency and evacuation lighting, fire fighting systems, ventilation, smoke removal and air conditioning systems, signaling systems and aviation beacons.
