In Rivne, a man threw ammunition right on a children's playground in a doorway among residential buildings. As a result, 5 people were injured, as reported by the First Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police Department Oleksiy Biloshitskyi on Facebook.
He said that the patrol police received a call in the area of Severnoy, where two men were in conflict. One of them threatened to detonate a grenade. When the patrol arrived at the scene, the attacker left the ammunition, which detonated.
"Today's case is another confirmation that there are no usual changes in our service," Biloshitskyi wrote.
He said that among the victims was a minor child.
The police of the Rivne region reported in Telegram that the explosion occurred on Roman Shukhevych Street at approximately 9:00 p.m.
"Preliminarily, at the scene of the incident, the police found two persons who may be involved in the committed crime. The law enforcement officers are communicating with them," the report says.
