The Russian occupiers are trying to advance in a number of directions. Meanwhile, our heroes continue to liberate the Kherson region. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

 "The defense forces continue to liberate Ukrainian lands in the Kherson direction. During successful offensive operations, advanced units of our troops have already reached the right bank of the Dnieper in some places. Measures to identify and destroy the enemy in a number of populated areas are continuing," the General Staff writes.

 It is noted that the official release of the results will be provided later for security reasons.

 Meanwhile, the enemy, as the General Staff claims, is improving the fortification equipment of the defensive lines on the left bank of the Dnipro and in the north of Crimea. It is also trying to advance in the Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Novopavliv directions.

 During the day, the Russians inflicted:

 3 missile strikes;

 9 air strikes;

 10 shots from the MLRS.

 There are no significant changes in the Volyn and Poliske directions, but the threat of missile and air strikes remains.

 Shelling from other directions:

 in the Slobozhansk direction - from artillery of various types, in the areas of the settlements of Aniskino, Bolohivka, Olkhovatka, Ogurtsovo and Strilachi of the Kharkiv region;

 in the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions - for tanks and artillery of various calibers, in the areas of the settlements of Berestov in the Kharkiv region and Myasozharivka, Novoselivske, Nevske and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region;

in the Bakhmut direction - from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, in the areas of Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Belogorivka, Mayorsk, New York and Yakivna settlements of the Donetsk region;

 in the Avdiiv region - from tanks and the entire spectrum of artillery, in the areas of Avdiivka, Vesele, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Nevelske and Pervomaiske settlements of the Donetsk region;

 in the Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhya directions - from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, in the areas of more than 30 settlements. Among them are Bogoyavlenka, Velyka Novosilka, Vodyane, Vugledar and Novopil in the Donetsk region and Gulyaipol, Mali Shcherbaki and Olhivske in the Zaporizhzhya region.

 In the area of ​​the settlement of Dniprovka, Zaporizhzhya region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed an enemy Mi-8 helicopter, and in the area of ​​Energodar, the enemy's command was hit - more than 50 occupants were killed, more than 40 were wounded. A Ka-52 helicopter was also destroyed.

 "As a result of accurate strikes by the Defense Forces on the headquarters of the Russian occupation forces in the village of Chervony Mayak, Kherson Region, more than 30 occupants were killed, 2 tanks and 4 trucks were destroyed," the press service adds.

 During this day, the aviation made 5 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy.

 Soldiers of the missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck:

 2 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment;

 2 ammunition depots;

 3 other important enemy military facilities.
