The Kremlin does not consider the Vatican's mediation in Ukraine's negotiations with the Russian Federation as possible

The Kremlin said it welcomed the Vatican's offer to provide a negotiating platform for talks with Ukraine, but accused Kyiv of making its position impossible. This was stated by the spokesman of the President of the Russian Federation Dmytro Peskov, Reuters reports.

"Of course, we welcome such political will, but given the de facto and de jure situation that currently exists on the Ukrainian side, such platforms cannot be in demand," Peskov said.

We will remind you that Pope Francis repeated 10 days ago that the Vatican is ready to do everything possible to become a mediator and put an end to the war in Ukraine.
