Emergency power outages continue in Kyiv by order of Ukrenergo to balance the power system and avoid equipment accidents, DTEK Kyiv Electric Power Company reported.
According to the company, 58% of the capacity limit allocated by the operator is used to provide critical infrastructure: hospitals, pumping and heating stations, and only 42% of the remaining capacity is used to feed household consumers.
"We are doing our best to provide light to each customer for 2-3 hours twice a day. As soon as we manage to balance the situation, we will return to disconnection according to the schedules. Follow the updated information. We ask you to limit the consumption of electricity as much as possible to help the energy companies balance the power system," - stated in the message.
