A Chechen blogger who criticized Kadyrov was killed in Sweden

Critic of Ramzan Kadyrov, Chechen opposition blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov were killed in Sweden.

 Kadyrov's opposition movement "Adat", which stands "against the genocide of the Chechen people, for its unification and de-occupation of Chechnya", reported that the rumors about Abdurakhmanov's death "turned out to be true".

 

 "We have been conducting and are conducting our internal investigation into the murder of Tumso for several days. At first, we could not believe what happened, but at this stage, as the Almighty Allah willed, we have enough information to confirm his death, and his brother, Muhammad, was hidden by the special services," the movement's message on the Telegram channel reads.

 

 Swedish law enforcement officers have not yet commented on this information.

 

 Tumso Abdurakhmanov and his brother, human rights defender Muhammad Abdurakhmanov, who live in Sweden, stopped communicating, it became known on December 2. At the same time, there were reports that the blogger could be killed. Unconfirmed information about the murder of Tumso Abdurakhmanov appeared in one of the telegram channels of supporters of the unrecognized Ichkeria. The publication cites a correspondence from Instagram that informed about this, from her words it follows that she is Abdurakhmanov's neighbor.

 

 The last entry of Tumso Abdurakhmanov in his Telegram channel was published in the evening of November 30.

 

 In February 2020, an attempt was made on Tumso Abdurakhmanov in his apartment in Sweden. The blogger managed to disarm the attacker and call the police. The verdict in the case was handed down in January 2021. The convicts are citizens of Russia. The specific masterminds of the crime were not identified, but the prosecutor stated at the court that "the traces point to Grozny".

 

 After the sentencing in the case of the attack on Tumso Abdurakhmanov, an attempt on his brother Muhammad in Germany was prevented. According to the human rights defender, the organization of his murder was entrusted to Parudda Edelgeriev, who is called Ramzan Kadyrov's cousin.
