MFA of Ukraine: If Hungary wants to move towards peace, it can start with an appeal to Russia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine advised Hungary to start by calling on Russia to end the war. This was stated by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko, commenting on the statement of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary about the desire to move towards the world.

"If Hungary so wants to move towards peace, then we can start by calling on Russia to stop the war. Judging by the number of meetings with Russian representatives, the opportunity for such a step should have already been found," Nikolenko wrote on Facebook.

State Secretary for Bilateral Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Tamás Mentser, said that his country will not hold military exercises for Ukrainian soldiers, as it wants to "move towards peace, not war".
