The Russian TV channel "Rain" is now unavailable in Lithuania as well

Lithuania bans broadcasting of the Russian TV channel "Rain" after it was stripped of its license in Latvia.

 This is reported by LRT.

The Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission announced that the independent Russian TV channel Rain will no longer be available in Lithuania.

It is worth noting that yesterday the Latvian National Council for Electronic Media revoked the license for the broadcast of the "Rain" TV channel. In addition, the mass media was fined 10,000 euros for displaying a map depicting Crimea as Russian territory, and the presenter called on viewers to help the Russian army.

It will be recalled that in March "Rain" stopped working in Russia, and some of its employees left the Russian Federation due to the law on the distribution of fakes. At the beginning of March, the TV channel received a broadcasting license in Latvia.
