Liquidation of the consequences of the shelling of the region by the Russian occupiers is underway in Odesa, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said.
"Odesa. After the shelling on December 5, the energy system of the city and surrounding settlements suffered the most. Today, we are working here on the spot. The power engineers have done a great job. The situation has been stabilized, and we will soon return to the planned electricity supply schedules," Tymoshenko wrote in a telegram on Thursday.
He noted that the night before, specialists found a way to reconnect Odesa and Odesa district to the power grid. Also, the issue of water supply and drainage "in practically all communities of the region" has been resolved.
"Of course, the work continues, and not only here, throughout the country. The Russians are looking for ways to sow panic and discontent. We will not allow this. We are working 24/7 to eliminate all the consequences of the Russian attacks," he concluded.
