Zelenskiy declared his readiness to fight Putin

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said that he is ready to hold a "duel" with the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin "at least tomorrow", noting that real men do not use intermediaries for this. He said this in an interview with La Chaine Info.

"A real man, if he wants to say something, wants to punch him in the face, he does it himself, and does not send intermediaries," Zelenskiy said.

At the same time, he said that he was ready "at least tomorrow" to go against Putin in the framework of martial arts, adding that this was the last meeting of the Russian president.

"Always ready. If I had to convey such a message to Putin, I would do it alone," the Ukrainian leader added.

According to him, the head of the Russian Federation does not want peace, is not ready to draw conclusions "from the tragedy that he caused to Ukraine and the world", as well as to his society and Russia, and in his actions "there is some irreversibility".

"This person wants neither the world nor the world that corresponds to his vision of things. But our visions are completely different, because our mentalities are different," the president said.

At the same time, he noted that he does not see the point in negotiations with the Russian side.

"I know that some people offer to sit down with him at the negotiating table, but I don't see the point of negotiating. It is very difficult to agree on a dialogue with someone when you are unarmed, and he is armed with a machine gun or even nuclear weapons, which is even worse," Zelenskiy said.

In addition, he compared the strategy of the Russian Federation against Ukraine with the "methods of Adolf Hitler's fascist regime." In particular, it is about the "deportation of Ukrainians".
