Israel will transfer technologies related to smart missile and drone warning to Ukraine - ambassador

Work is underway to transfer Israeli technologies to Ukraine related to intelligent missile and drone warning, Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk said.

"As for the official things we can comment on, there is work going on to transfer Israeli technology related to smart missile and drone warning. This technology is officially transferred by the Israeli side. And I think that in a certain time we will get it in full," he said at the Media Center Ukraine briefing.

The ambassador added that Ukraine still needs more active military-technical cooperation. However, according to him, there are many projects that cannot be publicly commented on yet.

"I think it will take several weeks to get specifics about Iranian drones. Since the government has just started work, it needs to make decisions taking into account the position of the US as the main strategic partner and the interests of the public," the ambassador said.

He explained that the gap between the right-wing bloc that came to power and the left-wing forces is very small - 40,000 voters, and there are a lot of issues related to domestic politics, as well as the Palestinian issue, on the agenda.

That is, the issue of Ukraine is not a priority. Although we are trying with all our might to make it so," added Korniychuk.

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel stated that the issue of the war in Ukraine is one of the priorities, the Ukrainian diplomat noted.

"The minister stated that he will promote more aid to Ukraine, without specifying what kind of aid," the ambassador said.
