The European Union added the Iranian state corporation Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industries Corporation to the sanctions list. It produces unmanned aerial vehicles.

 This is reported by the official journal of the EU.

 Iran's HESA Corporation specializes in the production of military and civilian aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles. These UAVs are used by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps.

 The document noted that the Russian Federation also uses these drones. The Council of the EU stated that this organization is involved in the development and delivery of unmanned aerial vehicles to Russia.

 It is because of it that it should be included in the list of individuals and legal entities and organizations on which restrictive measures are imposed.

 It will be recalled that the United States imposed sanctions against Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and five members of its board for suppressing protests in Iran.

 European Union ministers agreed on a new package of sanctions against Iran. It concerns persons involved in the suppression of peaceful protests.
