"Unacceptable": the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted to the statement of the President of Croatia about Crimea

The Ukrainian side considers unacceptable the statements of the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanovich, who actually questioned the territorial integrity of Ukraine. This is how the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko reacted to Milanovych's statement with the opinion that Crimea will never be Ukraine again.

Nikolenko recalled that Croatian President Zoran Milanovic believes that Crimea will never be Ukraine again, and also warned against confrontation with Russia, which has nuclear weapons.

"I wonder if Zoran Milanović would have been able to become the president of his country with such rhetoric in the 1990s, when Croatia was fighting for the preservation of its statehood? Would his voters agree to close their eyes to the occupation of part of their country's territory? I doubt it. I remind you that through the Foreign aggression, Croatia could lose a third of its lands. However, thanks to the heroic struggle, the Croats were able to protect the independence of their state," wrote Nikolenko in response.

"We consider the statements of the President of Croatia, who actually questioned the territorial integrity of Ukraine, to be unacceptable," said the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the same time, Nikolenko noted that Ukraine highly appreciates and thanks the government of Croatia and the Croatian people for the steadfast support of Ukrainians in the fight against Russian aggression.
