Gepard anti-aircraft guns and generators: Germany handed over a new aid package for the Armed Forces

Germany provided a new aid package for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It included two Gepard anti-aircraft guns.

 

 This was reported by the press service of the German government.

 

 Germany handed over another package of military aid to Ukraine. It included the following:

 

 2 Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns and 6,000 anti-aircraft ammunition;

 

 5 cars for border guards;

 

 29 electric generators;

 

 6 trucks with hook loading system;

 

 6 mobile antenna systems

 

 10 containers.

 

 Part of the equipment will be supplied from the Bundeswehr's warehouses, and the other part - from industry, financed by the funds of the government's modernization initiative. The German government emphasized that for security reasons, information on the methods and terms of delivery of weapons will not be disclosed.

 

 It is also known that the Ukrainian military will receive even more guided missiles for air defense by the end of February 2023. In addition, Germany will also hand over tanks.

 

 Earlier, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that Ukraine will receive more than a hundred old Leopard 1A5 battle tanks from a group of several European countries.
