On Thursday, February 16, the Russian military shelled the Kherson region. At least three people died as a result of enemy attacks.

 This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council Yuriy Sobolevskyi.

 "It is a difficult day for the Kherson region," the message reads.

 It is noted that three people died today as a result of enemy shelling

 "Seven more were injured," Sobolevsky added.

 We will remind that in the Kherson region, in the village of Zmiivka, a couple died due to shelling. During the shelling, an enemy shell hit their house.

 Russian occupiers attacked the Kherson region 52 times, targeting Kherson 21 times. Peaceful settlements of the region suffered from shelling from MLRS, mortars, artillery, tanks and UAVs.
