The first racket of Ukraine climbed into the top 30 of the WTA ranking for the first time in her career

Four Ukrainian tennis players, led by Angelina Kalinina, entered the top 100 of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) classification. A native of Novaya Kakhovka updated her personal record.

 The 26-year-old national first racket rose to the 29th place in the current ranking. Three more of her compatriots stayed in the top 100 classification.

 

 In a week, Kalinin went up four positions. Until now, she has never been in the thirty strongest tennis players on the planet. During the past seven days, the Ukrainian won two victories and lost to the Czech Pliskova at the 1/8 final stage of the Dubai Tennis Championships.

 

 Marta Kostyuk (+3 places) and Lesya Tsurenko (+2) made a small progress, while Kateryna Baindl stayed on the 84th place. On the other hand, Dayana Yastremska moved up 19 positions. She came very close to returning to the top 100 of the WTA ranking (103rd place).

 

 Meanwhile, there were no changes in the top 10 classification. Iga Sveontek remains the undisputed leader. The Polish woman has 10,585 rating points. Arina Sabalenko from Belarus and American Jessica Pegula complete the top three.
