Engineering machines, machine guns and spare parts: what was included in the new package of aid to Ukraine from Germany

Ukraine will receive a new package of military aid from Germany. Among other things, it has Dachs engineering machines and enemy drone detection systems.

 

 The updated list appeared on the official website of the German federal government.

 

 According to this information, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in particular, have already been given:

 

 three units of Dachs engineering transport based on the Leopard 2 heavy tank;

 

 100 MG3 machine guns intended for Leopard 2 tanks, as well as Marder and Dachs infantry fighting vehicles;

 

 spare parts for armored vehicles, in particular such as Leopard 2 and Marder (quantity not specified);

 

 30 systems for detecting unmanned aerial vehicles.

 

 COBRA artillery detection radar;

 

 53,000 anti-aircraft ammunition;

 

 7 remotely controlled tracked vehicles for support tasks;

 

 35 8x8 trucks with interchangeable bodies;

 

 26 reconnaissance drones;

 

 36 ambulances;

 

 36.4 thousand blankets;

 

 12 heavy-duty trucks;

 

 55 anti-drone sensors and jammers;

 

 60,000 cartridges for a 40-mm grenade launcher;

 

 200 tents;

 

 116,000 winter jackets;

 

 80 thousand thermal pants;

 

 240 thousand winter hats;

 

 405 thousand rations per person;

 

 67 refrigerators for medical supplies.

 

 The previous time, in March of this year, the package of German aid to the Armed Forces included artillery ammunition of caliber 155 mm, as well as MARS II rockets for multiple launch systems (MSRS).

 

 As reported, as part of the military aid package, Ukraine will receive a squadron of Challenger 2 tanks from Britain, on which Ukrainian servicemen are already undergoing training.
