Map of the war in Ukraine: British intelligence has updated data on the situation at the front

Russian troops are trying to advance in the east of Ukraine, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are restraining the enemy's intentions. No significant advance of the enemy was recorded.

This was reported by the British Ministry of Defense on Twitter.

According to the British map, the epicenter of hostilities remains the Bakhmut direction. Battles take place in the city, as well as on the outskirts.

In addition, the occupiers intensified their attacks near Maryinka and Avdiivka. Russian troops are trying to surround the latter. Battles are also taking place near Ugledar, although the enemy's offensive on this part of the front has weakened somewhat.

Artillery duels intensified in the Lymansk-Kupyansk direction. The occupiers use more armored vehicles.

Russian troops are also shelling populated areas along the entire front line, both in the east and in the south of Ukraine.

It will be recalled that the commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrsky, visited the positions of the troops in the Bakhmut direction.

Today, the authorities of Avdiyivka announced that the city has entered the "red zone", therefore the entry of civilians, journalists and volunteers is prohibited.
