Shmyhal told when the Armed Forces of Ukraine will launch a counteroffensive

The Ukrainian defense forces are carefully preparing for the upcoming counteroffensive and will launch it when there is an "appropriate time" to "demonstrate success."

This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, Sky News reports.

"We will start ... (the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, - ed.) when the time is right, when it is fully ready ... we will start the counteroffensive immediately, when our military and political leadership makes a decision," he said.

The Prime Minister added that now the defense forces are carefully preparing for the counteroffensive, so that it will be unconditionally successful.

"We are preparing very carefully, because this is a very important operation, and we understand that we have to demonstrate the success of this operation to our society, our partners, the whole world and our enemy," Shmyhal added.

As reported, according to Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar, Ukrainian troops are already conducting counteroffensive actions on the front, including the defense of Bakhmut. At the same time, the command of the Armed Forces has several plans to liberate the territories from the occupiers.

It will be recalled that Fedor Venislavskyi, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, said that the counteroffensive of Ukrainian forces would be "the least expected surprise" in Russia. In addition, the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces may come as a surprise to many Ukrainians.
