In Moldova, civil servants and law enforcement officers received threatening letters.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Moldova Hanna Revenko told RFI about this in an interview.

She noted that energy blackmail, false reports about bombs, cyber attacks on critical infrastructure are part of the hybrid war being waged by Russia.

Also, according to Revenko, various letters, summonses and notes were handed over to civil servants and law enforcement officers in order to prevent them from "doing their job", "causing chaos instead of discipline" and "sowing fear about the legality of actions taken by the authorities".

"All this is aimed at causing destabilization of such a nature that through radicalization of the population, disinformation, false campaigns compromising national leaders, pressure will be put on the authorities. It will, as Russia expects, lead to a change of government, and therefore to a change in the democratic course ", the minister emphasized.
