Finland's highest court on Thursday found investment banker Mikko Laakkonen guilty of violating the border crossing and sentenced him to a fine of five days' wages.
This is reported by the Delfi portal.
Laakkonen traveled on his yacht from Finland to Estonia and returned the same day without taking a travel document with him.
The millionaire has a passport, but he did not take it with him.
For an investment banker, this means a fine of 58,310 euros. According to the court, Laakkonen's daily income is 11,662 euros, and he earns 700,000 euros a month.
