After the night of terror, Russian troops again resorted to a missile attack on Kyiv. This afternoon, the enemy fired atypically with land-based ballistic and cruise missiles from the "Iskander" OTRK.

 All targets were successfully destroyed by air defense

 According to the Kyiv city administration, this was already the 16th attack on the capital since the beginning of the month.

 "Preliminarily, all air targets were successfully destroyed by the forces and means of our air defense. According to the available information, no hits were made on objects in Kyiv. The data is being processed and clarified," the KMVA informed after the alarm was sounded.

 Debris fell in different districts of Kyiv

 As a result, there were reports of the discovery of 6 fragments of missiles.

 Obolonsky district:

 near the gas station;

 on a road surface with ignition;

 to the green zone.

 Desnyan district:

 on the territory of one of the parks.

 Dnipro district:

 on the road surface in different places.

 As a result of falling debris, no critical damage was recorded. A fire in a 2-story building was reported in the Podilsky district. Later, the city hall was told about one victim, he was hospitalized.

 Kyiv region also felt the consequences of the attack.

 It should be noted that during the daytime attack in the Kyiv region, falling debris was also recorded.

 A farm house was damaged in one of the districts of the Kyiv region. The fire broke out, there were no casualties.

 According to Andrii Nebitov, head of the National Police in the Kyiv region, there are currently no casualties or serious damage in the region.

However, reports have been received from local residents about the discovery of rocket fragments on the territory of private farms and public places.

 In some areas, grass and parts of forest areas caught fire due to the attacks. Law enforcement officers are working at the scene.

 Russia used "ballistics"

 Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, previously reported that during the attack on Kyiv in the afternoon, the Russians used missiles that flew along a ballistic trajectory. Actually, it was connected with this that almost immediately after the sirens, the people of Kyiv heard the sounds of explosions.

 Later, this was confirmed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi. He said that around 11:30 the invaders attacked Kyiv region with land-based ballistic and cruise missiles from the "Iskander" OTRK.

 "A total of 11 missiles were launched: "Iskander-M" and "Iskander-K" from the northern direction," Zaluzhnyi wrote.

 The enemy changed the tactics of shelling

 As KMVA drew attention to, after prolonged night-time attacks, Russian troops struck a peaceful city during the day, when most residents were at work and on the streets.

 "In other words, the racists are clearly demonstrating that they are aiming at the destruction of the civilian population," the Kyiv City Administration noted.

 Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, after another hostile attack on the capital, called on partners to further strengthen Ukraine's air defense and to transfer F-16 fighter jets to counter Russian aggression.

 "Russian attacks by strike drones and missiles aimed at peaceful Ukrainian cities cannot be considered something ordinary, no matter how frequent they become. All of these are war crimes and must be stopped by further strengthening of Ukraine's air defenses, including F-16 fighter jets , and the transformation of Russian aggression in general into a defeat," Kuleba wrote on Twitter.
