According to information published by Bloomberg with reference to its sources, US President Joe Biden intends to ask Congress to allocate an additional $13 billion for defense, including aid to Ukraine.

It is planned that the total request will amount to $25 billion, and the rest of this amount is intended to finance activities in case of natural disasters.

According to the agency, this proposal from Biden could cause "tension among Republicans who have expressed a more moderate willingness to provide additional funding to support military action in Ukraine."
